Playstation ( PS ) 是日本 Sony ( 索尼 ) 旗下的 Sony Computer Entertainment Inc
 ( 簡稱 SCE / SCEI  ) 於 1994.12.03 推出的家用遊戲主機。


-  2000.09.14
   日本 SCE 重新設計更小巧的 PlayStation 主機，推出輕量化版本 PSone (PS1)
-  2003.03.04
   日本 SCE 推出 PlayStation 的後繼機種 Playstation 2 (PS2)
-  2006.03.15
   日本 SCE 推出 PlayStation (PS3) ，是首部搭載並且大力推廣藍光光碟的重要硬件

為慶祝 PlayStation 十周年，特別設計了十周年限定八達通，率先讓機迷在 AGS
「 亞洲遊戲展 2004 」換領，其後亦有不同款式在之後的遊戲展推出：
